Bemidji, MN has a variety of shopping options for visitors and locals alike. The downtown area is home to many unique shops and boutiques, selling everything from clothing and accessories to handmade crafts and artwork. One popular destination is the Watermark Art Center, which features a gallery showcasing local and regional artists, as well as a gift shop with a variety of handmade items. Another popular spot is the Fleur de Lis Gallery, which specializes in locally made pottery, jewelry, and glassware. For those looking for more traditional retail shopping, the Paul Bunyan Mall is the largest shopping center in the Bemidji area, with a variety of stores including Target, Kohl’s, and JCPenney. There are also several big-box retailers located just outside of town, including Walmart and Menards. If you’re willing to venture a little further from Bemidji, there are several other shopping destinations in the surrounding area. The town of Park Rapids, about 30 miles south of Bemidji, has a charming downtown area with several unique shops, while the city of Grand Rapids, about an hour’s drive west of Bemidji, has a variety of shopping options including a mall, big-box retailers, and locally owned shops.
