White Birch Resort has
nine NEWLY remodeled, renovated or
BRAND NEW authentic cabins; which includes in
2009 a
Brand NEW Entertainment Reunion Cabin
which sleeps up to 22 people and in 2005 a
NEWLY Remodeled Reunion Cabin
which sleeps up to
17 people. All the cabins have breathtaking Blackduck lake views,
since they sit on an upper plateau which is 25' above Blackduck lake. The
lower plateau consists of about 500'x100' of well groomed lawns to the
lakes edge. The west side of the resort borders the Blackduck River which
flows north to Red Lake. The total resort lake front is approximately
600', so you'll find our cabins are spaced out nicely and not scrunched
together like some resorts. We are a year round resort for
families enjoying fishing, hunting, skiing, ice fishing,
hiking, snowmobiling and all around outdoor activities.
Why fish Blackduck Lake?
Well, the survey of Blackduck
Lake by the DNR in 2001 showed the highest number ever recorded for
walleye. It had twice as many walleye in it compared to other lakes in its
class. Blackduck Lake is stocked with around 1.3 million walleye every 2
out of 3 years. Blackduck Lake should be excellent walleye fishing for
your next Minnesota family vacation at our resort. Also Bemidji MN is 25
minutes away and is on the shores of Bemidji Lake where you can find
the ever elusive muskie and northern pike. There is a walleye
fishing tournament held on Bemidji Lake every year. So, walleye
fishing in the Bemidji MN area will definitely make for a memorable Minnesota family
vacation.
We are located just three miles west of Blackduck MN. The little town of Blackduck is approximately 800 people located only 24 miles northeast of Bemidji, MN and 25 miles south of Upper Red Lake. This friendly little town is a Northwoods hub for great outdoor recreation. It also has a wide variety of businesses and activities to welcome and serve you.
